Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Scrapbot (the "Service") — the website at scrapbot.ai, its AI parts-search chat, the waitlist, and any related applications. The Service is operated by BAMBAM LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA ("BAMBAM LLC", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Scrapbot does

Scrapbot helps you find and compare car parts by searching third-party sources — including eBay, Google Shopping and the wider web — and by generating AI-assisted suggestions about parts, fitment and pricing. Scrapbot is an information and search tool. We do not sell parts, we are not a party to any transaction you enter into with a third-party seller, and we do not guarantee the availability, condition, fitment, legality or price of any item.

2. No affiliation with third parties

Scrapbot is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay, Google, any vehicle manufacturer, or any seller or retailer whose listings may appear in results. All trade marks, product names and listings belong to their respective owners. Your purchases from third-party sellers are governed by that seller's and marketplace's own terms, not these Terms.

3. Accuracy and "as is" nature of the Service

The Service relies on third-party data and on AI models, both of which can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Prices, part numbers, fitment guidance, stock and any other information are provided for general guidance only and must not be relied on as professional, mechanical or legal advice.

You are responsible for verifying that any part fits your vehicle and is fit for purpose before you buy or install it. Always confirm fitment (including side, variant, transmission, engine code and any paint or trim codes) with the seller or a qualified professional. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
• scrape, harvest, resell, or systematically extract data from the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• submit false, misleading or unlawful information, or another person's personal data without their permission;
• use the Service to send spam or to attempt to manipulate its AI into behaviour outside its intended purpose.

We may suspend or withdraw access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, including where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

5. Waitlist

Joining the waitlist registers your interest in future features and does not create any contract to provide a paid service, any guarantee of access, or any particular launch date. We may change, delay or cancel planned features at our discretion. How we handle the information you submit is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, logos and software, is owned by BAMBAM LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal or internal business use in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the content you submit, and you grant us a licence to use it as needed to operate and improve the Service.

7. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• the Service is provided free of charge for general information, and we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from your reliance on any information it provides;
• we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, savings, data, goodwill or business, however caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss;
• in particular, we are not liable for any part you buy from a third party, for any incorrect fitment, condition or price, or for any act or omission of a third-party seller, marketplace or data source; and
• our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Because the Service is currently provided free of charge, you acknowledge that this limitation is a reasonable allocation of risk and reflects the basis on which we make the Service available to you.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BAMBAM LLC and its officers, employees and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.

9. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory legal protection you are entitled to as a consumer in your country of residence.
